The initiative, spearheaded by its founder Miriam Odemba, Miss Earth Air Face of Africa 2008 and Elite Model 1999, promotes fashion as a vehicle for African identity. It highlights not only clothing styles, but also the vision, thoughts and heritage that define Africa. The aim is to show the world a beauty rich in dignity and values, and to elevate Swahili culture. Sauti ya Mitindo aims to bridge the gap between today’s dreams and yesterday’s history, using fashion as a platform to promote African identity and unity. <\/span><\/p>\n
