Due to recent events in Madagascar, we regret to announce the cancellation of Tana Fashion Days.<\/p>\n

The safety and well-being of all participants, designers, models and spectators being the absolute priority, the organizers have taken the decision not to maintain the event. We thank the entire fashion community for its support. We look forward to returning to Tananarive’s creative scene in the near future. <\/p>\n

\nAn alliance to promote Madagascan creativity<\/h2>\n

The world of African fashion continues to grow richer with a new event that is making news in Antananarivo: <\/span>Tana Fashion Days by YAS<\/span><\/strong> to be held on September 27 and 28<\/span>. <\/span><\/strong>This project is the fruit of a strategic collaboration between three key entities: the teleoperator <\/span>YAS<\/span><\/strong>, l’<\/span>Institute for Fashion and the Creative Industry (IMIC)<\/span><\/strong>and <\/span>Manja le Festival<\/span><\/strong>a well-known player on the Malagasy fashion scene.<\/span><\/p>\n

The aim of this alliance is clear: to promote creativity in fashion, while preserving Malagasy traditions and adapting them to the contemporary world. The event positions itself as a bridge between cultural heritage and the sector’s modern aspirations, an approach that fits in perfectly with the effervescence experienced by African fashion. <\/span><\/p>\n

A rich and varied program<\/span><\/h3>\n

Tana Fashion Days offers a two-day program that promises to highlight the wealth of Malagasy know-how. On Saturday, the event kicks off with a <\/span>private sale<\/span><\/strong> bringing together local designers and artisans. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover and purchase unique pieces (ready-to-wear, accessories and jewelry), while supporting the local economy. <\/span><\/p>\n

Fashion lovers will also be able to attend two collective shows: the first will showcase emerging <\/span>emerging designers<\/span><\/strong>The second will showcase local designers already recognized for their distinctive style. The day will close with a festive evening to celebrate the success of this first edition. <\/span><\/p>\n
