One of the highlights of the Biennial is its focus on African fashion and creativity, with several events not to be missed. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"selected\">As Micha\u00ebl Delafosse, Mayor of Montpellier and President of Montpellier M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e M\u00e9tropole, points out: &#8220;With over 100 events, 50 associated partners and almost 300 artists, thinkers, scientists, sportsmen and women and entrepreneurs, let&#8217;s work together to make the Montpellier 2025 Euro-Africa Biennial a vibrant testimony to our commitment to a shared, prosperous and sustainable future, a symbol of cooperation.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"selected\">The Fondation Zinsou partners this unique biennial event<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"selected\">The <\/span><strong><span class=\"selected\">Fondation Zinsou<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">a renowned cultural institution based in Benin, is one of the Biennial&#8217;s key partners. It will be presenting   <\/span><strong><span class=\"selected\">Tropisme Hall<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">on <\/span><strong><span class=\"selected\">Wednesday October 8th<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">the opening of its travelling exhibition <\/span><em><span class=\"selected\">Mix &amp; Match<\/span><\/em><span class=\"selected\">. Visit   <\/span><strong><span class=\"selected\">Wednesday October 8<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">a conference will be held on <\/span><strong><span class=\"selected\">dynamics and models of creative places<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">with the participation of the director of Halle Tropisme and French and African project leaders.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"selected\">Le <\/span><strong><span class=\"selected\">Thursday, October 9th<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">Halle Tropisme will host a conference on the theme of &#8221; <\/span><strong><span class=\"selected\">Setting up and financing a project between two continents<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\"> &#8220;moderated by Ambre Delacroix, a journalist specializing in cultural and economic diplomacy between Africa and France.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"selected\">Le <\/span><strong><span class=\"selected\">Friday, October 10th<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">  is shaping up to be a landmark day. A parade is organized to close the support program.   <\/span><strong><span class=\"selected\">Creation Africa Botswana<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">featuring creations by Botswanan designers. The evening continues with the   <\/span><strong><span class=\"selected\">Workshop Night<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">where African artists will be invited to collaborate with Montpellier designers. The night will feature performances by Rwandan bands Kenny Mirasano and +250, and Tanzanian group Asili. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10913\" src=\"https:\/\/africafashiontour.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/3-2.jpg\" alt=\"creationbotswana - Biennale Euro-Africa de Montpellier 2025\" width=\"819\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/africafashiontour.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/3-2.jpg 819w, https:\/\/africafashiontour.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/3-2-480x600.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 819px, 100vw\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"selected\">Urban Fashion Show on the Esplanade Charles de Gaulle<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"selected\">Le <\/span><strong><span class=\"selected\">Saturday, October 11<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">, l&#8217;<\/span><strong><span class=\"selected\">Esplanade Charles de Gaulle<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\"> will be transformed into a veritable open-air fashion stage for the<\/span><strong><span class=\"selected\">Urban Fashion Show<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">. This dance show will feature contemporary fashion from Botswana, Morocco and Cameroon. Designers from the Cr\u00e9ation Botswana program, Label Oued from Casablanca, and Cameroonian designer Chris l&#8217;Italien, who specializes in upcycling, will be in the spotlight. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"selected\">Alongside the parade, the esplanade will host the <\/span><strong><span class=\"selected\">Afrobreak Montpellier breakdance battle<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">. Dancers from ten African countries will compete against each other to the delight of the public, with initiations and demonstrations scheduled throughout the week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"selected\">With such a varied and inspiring program, the Biennale Euro-Africa de Montpellier 2025 promises to be a major event celebrating creativity, innovation and collaboration between the two continents.
