This inaugural event, held on Wednesday, October 8, brought together a passionate jury to honor designers who are redefining the region&#8217;s aesthetic and entrepreneurship. From conceptual dresses to disruptive accessories and social engagement, this edition celebrated the excellence, innovation and narrative depth of emerging talent from the Arab world. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"selected\">A new generation of designers in the spotlight<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"selected\">Faced with the quality and diversity of the entries, the jury made a rigorous selection to honor the figures who will shape tomorrow&#8217;s fashion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"selected\">The <\/span><strong><br \/>\n  <span class=\"selected\">Emerging Talent<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><span class=\"selected\"> was awarded to <\/span><strong><br \/>\n  <span class=\"selected\">Ahmed Hassan (KML)<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><span class=\"selected\">co-founder and artistic director of a conceptual fashion house based in Saudi Arabia. Trained in architecture, Ahmed brings a rigorous sense of proportion and ergonomics to KML, which he runs alongside his sister Razan. Based in Paris, this designer of fashion accessories develops a singular aesthetic, a veritable textile laboratory where craftsmanship meets architecture and design. Committed to   <\/span><em><br \/>\n  <span class=\"selected\">slow fashion<\/span><br \/>\n<\/em><span class=\"selected\">With a focus on hand-crafted pieces produced in limited series, the company embodies inclusive, committed and sustainable fashion.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"selected\">Accessories in the spotlight<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"selected\">The category <\/span><strong><br \/>\n  <span class=\"selected\">Talent Accessories<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><span class=\"selected\"> category rewarded two designers with complementary approaches:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span class=\"selected\">Lina Kouhaili<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">  (Morocco): Franco-Moroccan object designer incubated at the Institut Fran\u00e7ais de la Mode. Her studio,   <\/span><strong><span class=\"selected\">[lina.ku\u025bli]<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">invented &#8220;objets-\u00e0-porter&#8221;: chimerical pieces (object-bags, table jewelry) that blur the lines between fashion accessory and functional sculpture. Her approach   <\/span><em><br \/>\n  <span class=\"selected\">Made in Nomade<\/span><br \/>\n<\/em><span class=\"selected\"> enhances the value of artisan know-how by taking it on the road.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11029\" src=\"https:\/\/africafashiontour.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/3-1.jpg\" alt=\"Lina Kouhaili\" width=\"819\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/africafashiontour.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/3-1.jpg 819w, https:\/\/africafashiontour.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/3-1-480x600.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 819px, 100vw\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><br \/>\n  <span class=\"selected\">Oubadah Nouktah (Nouktah)<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><span class=\"selected\"> (Syria): Syrian designer trained at ENSAD and ECAL, he founded <\/span><strong><br \/>\n  <span class=\"selected\">NOUKTAH<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><span class=\"selected\">an independent leather goods brand. It is distinguished by two lines: one incorporating an innovative patented opening system, and the other transforming junkyard auto parts into unique bags, blending graphic design, visual storytelling and high-end luxury. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Entrepreneurial commitment<\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"selected\">The <\/span><strong><br \/>\n  <span class=\"selected\">Jury&#8217;s Special Prize<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><span class=\"selected\"> was awarded to <\/span><strong><br \/>\n  <span class=\"selected\">Mouthana Alhaj Ali<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><span class=\"selected\">  (Syria). A graduate of the Institut Fran\u00e7ais de la Mode and St\u00e9phane Rolland&#8217;s atelier, Mouthana uses his creations as a powerful medium to preserve memory and tell the story of women who have lived through the horror of war. A work of such depth and human commitment that it particularly appealed to the jury.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"selected\">Finally, the<\/span><strong><br \/>\n  <span class=\"selected\">Creative Entrepreneurship<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><span class=\"selected\"> went to <\/span><strong><br \/>\n  <span class=\"selected\">Sophia Kacimi (Zoubida)<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><span class=\"selected\">. After fifteen years in the luxury goods industry, the Moroccan founder has invented a human and sustainable model for her company.  <\/span><strong><span class=\"selected\">Zoubida<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"selected\">.
