A prestigious event in the heart of Paris
La Maison de l’Afrique (LMDA) is honored to invite you to its annual Gala Dinner, on Friday December 5, 2025, in the sumptuous setting of the Salons de l’Hôtel des Arts et Métiers in Paris (9 bis avenue d’Iéna).
This not-to-be-missed event is much more than just a reception. It’s a privileged moment to bring together business leaders, institutional partners and influential members of the LMDA1974 circle around a common vision: Africa’s prosperous future.
Theme 2025: “Africa’s builders, past, present and future”.
Under this inspiring theme, initiated and supported by the vision of architect Amélie Essesse, the evening will spotlight the women and men who are shaping the continent. We will celebrate those who, through their work, commitment and vision, are laying the foundations of a strong and united Africa, stone by stone, idea by idea.
The primary aim of this theme is to support concrete projects for sustainable construction and the preservation of Africa’s architectural heritage, by promoting ancestral know-how.
On the program for this exceptional evening:
- Review and Projections: Discover the inspiring achievements of 2025 and the major strategic orientations for 2026 of the Maison de l’Afrique.
- Strategic Networking: privileged opportunities to strengthen partnerships between Africa and Europe, promote emerging talent and support truly shared growth.
- Arts and Inspiration: Let yourself be carried away by captivating cultural interludes, combining music, visual arts and inspiring encounters. A prestigious tombola will also bring the evening to a close.
A commitment to heritage
The theme of this 2025 edition is solidarity. Part of the proceeds will go to support the Bâtir et Développer association (Club UNESCO) and its magnificent ” Femmes bâtisseuses d’Afrique ” project.
By taking part in this Gala, you are making a concrete contribution to the restoration of an earthen building, a powerful act that symbolizes the value of an ancestral know-how that is sustainable and at the heart of tomorrow’s innovations. This dialogue between yesterday’s buildings and modern technologies will be at the heart of the discussions, with the intervention of a key player in the sector, notably architect Amélie Essesse, a great promoter of raw earth construction.
