From France to Casablanca

Angeline Dangelser is a French fashion designer who chose to settle in Casablanca, Morocco, around ten years ago. With experience in some of France’s most prestigious fashion houses, she has developed an in-depth expertise in the fashion sector. Her arrival in Morocco was marked by a keen interest in the local fashion ecosystem, and a desire to use her skills to promote Moroccan know-how.

Expertise at the service of fashion

On her arrival in Morocco, Angeline Dangelser was struck by the richness and diversity of the local fashion ecosystem. She discovered an exceptional craft heritage, ancestral techniques handed down from generation to generation, and an abundance of creativity among Moroccan designers. This immersion in Moroccan culture was a real revelation for her.

She quickly realized that there was immense potential to be tapped, and wanted to put her skills and experience to work promoting this unique know-how. Angeline realized that, despite their talent, many creators and craftsmen were working in isolation, lacking the visibility and support they needed to develop.

With this in mind, she founded the Label Oued collective, an initiative aimed at building bridges between these different fashion players. Her ambition was to create a collaborative platform, a space for exchange and synergy where designers and artisans could meet, share skills and work together on common projects. In so doing, she wanted to help structure Morocco’s fashion ecosystem, energize it and promote its influence both nationally and internationally.

Connecting designers and craftsmen to meet market challenges

In founding the Label Oued collective, Angeline Dangelser wanted to create a platform to bring together Moroccan designers and craftspeople. Her ambition is to promote the work of these fashion players, encourage collaboration and energize the sector. Label Oued aims to be a space for exchange and synergy, where creativity can flourish and traditional know-how is showcased.

One of the collective’s key missions is to enable its members to respond to calls for tender. To this end, Label Oued is organized in such a way as to integrate different professional profiles, from creatives to management and marketing experts. This multidisciplinary approach is essential for structuring proposals, managing administrative and financial aspects, and ensuring effective project follow-up.

Her commitment gives greater visibility to Moroccan designers and artisans, both locally and internationally. By fostering exchanges and collaborations, she contributes to the emergence of a dynamic and innovative creative scene, which draws on the richness of Morocco’s heritage while embracing contemporary trends.

As part of this approach, the opening of a third place dedicated to fashion and design is a flagship project for Angeline Dangelser. This future space is intended to become a place for meetings, exhibitions, sales and exchanges, reinforcing Label Oued’s role as a key player on the Moroccan fashion scene.
