Dakar Fashion Week 2024 promises to be a must-attend event for lovers of African fashion. From December 4 to 8, the Senegalese capital will vibrate to the rhythm of fashion shows, exhibitions and workshops.
Program highlights :
- Exclusive opening evening: Fashion Week kicks off in style with a private evening at the Résidence Majorelle, reserved for privileged guests.
- Young designers’ fashion shows: Young African talents will have the opportunity to present their collections at two fashion shows organized at the Turkish Embassy and the Pullman Dakar Teranga.
- Grand défilé finale: The highlight of the show will take place at the Parc Forestier et Zoologique de Hann Mariste, with a fashion show featuring the continent’s leading designers.
- Swap & Shop: Fashionistas will be able to shop for unique pieces at the Swap & Shop at the Pullman Dakar Teranga.
- Documentary screening: A documentary on Adama Paris will be screened at the Pullman Dakar Teranga, offering an insight into the African fashion scene.
- Closing evening: Fashion Week closes in style with an all-white evening at the Phare des Mamelles.
