Izar Hyacinthe, of Haitian origin, began her career on the African continent shortly after graduating in France. Her first post took her to Canal+ in Togo and Ghana. She was in charge of business development for the audiovisual giant. She has fond memories of this first experience, which began at the age of 23. She was soon entrusted with major responsibilities. In addition to her main mission of developing business in these countries, Izar also took charge of sales teams in the field. This is how she developed her managerial skills

Izar’s career with major groups such as Yves Rocher and L’Oréal has been marked by success and learning. At Yves Rocher, she held several positions of responsibility, contributing to the brand’s development in sub-Saharan Africa. Her experience at L’Oréal, where she was in charge of the Afro catalog in Europe, broadened her skills and exposed her to new challenges, particularly in terms of distribution strategies and management of specific markets.

Concrete initiatives to stimulate the African economy

Drawing on these experiences, Izar founded Concretiz, with the mission of supporting companies in their expansion in Africa. Her commitment goes beyond the boundaries of large corporations, extending to entrepreneurs and start-ups.

In collaboration with Procos and Euralia, she also organizes the first retail and franchise forum dedicated to Africa, Afretail, aimed at fostering expansion opportunities in Africa.
