International ambitions: Sisters Of Afrika exports to New York, Montreal and Brussels

Every year, it’s the must-attend event for the brand’s diaspora and loyal customers from Canada, England, the United States and Belgium. It’s an opportunity to rediscover the brand’s best-sellers, as well as to discover new products. The Sisters of Afrika brand was founded 10 years ago by Hélène and Josiane, two sisters with a passion for fashion who decided to offer a unique made-in-Africa wardrobe. Tye-dye is a signature element of the brand, which draws on the local know-how of dyers whose knotting techniques enable them to create original patterns. Collection pieces are offered in limited editions. Each bath of fabric corresponds to a precise and limited number of models. Each customer can feel unique by purchasing a piece from the Sisters of Afrika collection for an average of €150.

Among the collection’s top models available in Paris are the Mina & Andy ensembles, Reine & Flora dresses, and Tening and Fatouma boubous. A collection of bags and jewelry will also be available, as well as the Men’s collection. For the first time, Sisters Of Afrika is showing its ambitions for international expansion, with Pop Up stores in New York, Montreal and Brussels, in addition to the Paris Pop Up.

Today, the brand is available at various points of sale in Africa, including Sisters of Afrika’s own boutiques in Dakar and Abidjan. The brand is also present in concept stores in Bamako, Burkina Faso, South Africa and Abidjan. As for online sales, customers have several options via WhatsApp, Instagram and the website to request information and place orders. The business is organized so that customers can easily contact the sales team. The success of Sisters of Afrika is based on a 100% female team dedicated to customer satisfaction, with a manager for the online and physical boutiques, a production manager, a sales manager, and a marketing and communications manager.

See you in Paris on May 11 and 12 at the Show Room Romeo at 18 rue Ferdinand du Val in the 4th arrondissement, metro Saint Paul.

The Sisters of Afrika Pop Up is not just a fashion event, it also embodies the commitment and success of an all-female team dedicated to customer satisfaction. With strong international ambitions, Sisters of Afrika is charting its path to success on the African continent and beyond.
