True to its historic role as a curator of talent and trendsetter, Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann is once again celebrating the vitality and effervescence of the African fashion scene. Through the “Africa Now” pop-up , the department store offers a unique sensory and commercial immersion in the heart of its third floor Coupole.
This 2026 edition broadens its horizons by joining forces with three benchmark partners, each bringing a cutting-edge selection that testifies to the richness and plurality of know-how: Adama Paris, CANEX x Tranoï and Studio Ka x Africa Fashion Up.

- Kwiyiah Style – Ivory Coast : Founded in 2017 by Lucie Gomba, the brand offers bold feminine silhouettes where cultural heritage meets sleek modernity.
- Talua: Contemporary luxury house renowned for its vision of “silent luxury”. Its lines of leather goods, accessories and ready-to-wear embody an essential elegance, without ostentation, subtly valorizing the symbols of African cultures.
Contextual retailing
Holding this pop-up in the middle of June, in parallel with the bigAfrica Fashion Up show at the Musée du quai Branly, confirms a major trend in the luxury market: the context converts.
Allowing Parisian and international customers to touch the materials, try on the cuts and understand the stories behind each garment in a prestigious setting like Galeries Lafayette is the best way to perpetuate the business model of these independent brands.
