In this fifth episode, we catch up with Nasita Fofana, founder of Sitaindigo, a women’s ready-to-wear brand based in Guinea Conakry. Nasita studied political science. She left France right after her studies to settle in Conakry. She worked for a consulting firm serving the Guinean government. She has always wanted to set up her own business.
A business with impact. She decided to contribute to the valorization of the know-how of Guinea’s weavers. She chose to create a fashion brand and to use Lepi, the traditional weaving of Guinea, to develop her collections. Her achievements are all the more impressive given that she is just 25 years old.
